Little Leadwood comfortably sleeps a maximum of four guests in two bedrooms.
Reserve rules require a minimum lease of 31 days. That said, it's such a beautiful spot that most guests end up staying for two or three months.
Yes. Little Leadwood is located on a big-game estate and is unfenced. Elephant, cheetah, warthog, leopard, giraffe, nyala and lions have all been spotted from the comfort of the veranda.
Self-drives are not permitted on the reserve. We arrange professionally guided game drives with trusted local operators — morning and afternoon options — at R 1,250 per person per drive.
Yes. The villa is serviced once a week to keep everything fresh and comfortable.
Yes, the villa has a reliable internet connection — adequate for remote work and video calls.
Yes. Little Leadwood has a backup water tank and a backup inverter system, plus seventeen solar panels and two batteries. You will be comfortable through any outages.
Little Leadwood is about fifteen minutes from Hoedspruit town, where you'll find shops, restaurants and other essentials.
The villa is fifty to sixty minutes from the Orpen Gate of Kruger National Park.
Children under seven are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be flagged when booking. Because the estate is home to wild animals — and because the swimming pool is unfenced — it's important that parents are fully aware of this before confirming. If your children are bush-wise and comfortable in the wilderness, we're happy to consider an exception.
Morning and evening guided game drives, exploring the Blyde River Canyon, boutique shops and restaurants in Hoedspruit, boat trips, horse riding on nearby estates, day trips into Kruger, and hot air ballooning or helicopter flights — the list goes on.
Pricing for 2026 is charged monthly at a rate of $2,850 or £2,050. Accommodation, weekly housekeeping and internet are included. Electricity is billed in arrears at the end of your stay. Prices for 2027 are currently on a request basis.
No. Little Leadwood is equipped with seventeen solar panels and four backup batteries, meaning the house is fully insulated from loadshedding affecting the Hoedspruit area.
Yes. The villa has a whole-house filtration system — multi-stage sediment filtration, media filtration, water softening, mineral conditioning and UV sterilisation. Clean, clear water throughout the house.
